RCMP in Kings District are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 47-year-old man.
Michael Blenus was last seen at his residence in the Lockhart Mountain Road area at approximately 12:30 p.m. on the afternoon of September 3rd. It is out of character for him not to have contact with his family.
Michael is a 47-year-old man and described as six feet two inches in height, weighing between 165-170 pounds with thin dirty blonde hair and a receding hair line. He was last seen wearing blue work pants, burgundy shirt and black shoes. He has a tattoo on his left arm from his elbow to his wrist.
Update: The RCMP regret to inform the public that at approximately 11:00 a.m. this morning, the body of 47-year-old Michael Blenus was located in a wooded area off Lockhart Mountain Road in Coldbrook. The medical examiner’s office is investigating, but foul play is not suspected.
