Chelsea Shanoff announces her upcoming concert of contemporary music for saxophone, piano, percussion, and guitar. Taking place at the Music Gallery on September 10, 2013, the concert will feature saxophonist Chelsea Shanoff, with the additional talents of pianist Wesley Shen, percussionist Michelle Hwu, guitarist Patrick Power, and saxophonist Marc Funkenhauser. Highlights of the program will include Colin Labadies Strata for solo tenor saxophone, Jun Nagaos Paganini Lost for two saxophonists and piano, Jean-Claude Rissets Voilements for saxophone and tape, and Alex Minceks Nucleus, for saxophone and percussion. With a wide range of styles, sounds, and instrumentation, this concert will take your ears to new and exciting places.
