The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.
On Wednesday, October 9, 2013, police received a call regarding a sexual assault in the Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
– a woman attended the Revivo Rehabilitation Clinic, at 525 Markham Road, for a massage with a registered massage therapist
– during the massage, the woman was sexually assaulted by the massage therapist
Tie (Tony) Li, 37, of Toronto, was arrested later that day and charged with sexual assault.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, Thursday, October 10, 2013, 10 a.m., room 412.
Police believe there may be more victims.
