As a result of an ongoing drug investigation involving members of the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant was executed on September 24th, 2010 at a suite located in the area of the 1400 block of Niakwa Road.
Due to the efforts of numerous officers, the following items were located and seized:
· 36 lbs. of Cannabis Marihuana – estimated street value $108,000.00
· 26 grams of hash oil – estimated street value $650.00
· Almost $10,000.00 Canadian Currency
· 1 vehicle
Vanessa Sherry-Lyn DEUTSCHER, 19 years and Jesse Pat LYLE, 28 years have been charged with several drug related offences.
They have been detained in custody.
