Join us during Doors Open Toronto for a free open house of both theatres.

Visitors will get a chance to see the century old theatres and samples from the world’s largest collection of vaudeville scenery and learn about the history and restoration of the complex. The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres are the last operating double-decker theatre in the world and a National Historic Site.

There will be no tours, this year it is an “open house” format. Volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions and tell the story of the theatres and perhaps one or two ghost stories. Photography is allowed, but no tripods. Backstage will not be included.
