The European Club Championships 2014 will kick off in Amiens, France on Tuesday with defending champions Primorye Vladivostok from Russia to defend his title for the second consecutive year.
It is basically a club tournament organized by Badminton Europe (BE) with initial competitions was held back in 1978 in Göppingen, Germany.
The Championship is held every year to determine the best club team in Europe. The event was known to be “Europe Cup” until 2009.
The 2014 event will be hosted by Picardie region in cooperation with the French Badminton Association and Badminton Europe.
