Three men arrested for drug offences in Halifax, Nova Scotia

At 9 p.m., the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, assisted by patrol officers, conducted a search of a residence on Lynette Road. Two people were arrested without incident and officers seized crack cocaine, marihuana, hash, hydromorphone, morphine, cash, drug paraphernalia and a conductive energy device. Trevor Scott Cooper, 35, and Matthew Fisher 39, both of Halifax, face multiple drug trafficking and weapon related charges.

A second unrelated search took place at 11:32 p.m. The HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, assisted by patrol officers, executed a search warrant of a residence in the 5400 block of Sunrise Walk Drive. Officers arrested three people without incident and seized crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia. Nineteen-year-old Arnelle Wellington Ellison, of Halifax, faces charges of drug trafficking and breach of recognizance. The other two people were released at the scene without charges.

The people charged in both searches are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
