USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…He was last seen on stage in 2001 performing in the play Pati Patni Aur Main. And now 14 years later Shatrughan Sinha will be seen again on stage, this time performing in the same play on 19 January, the day after Shatruji's son's marriage.
Chuckles the redoubtable actor-politician, "I guess the occasion is such that I had to do something special. On January 19, I'll be performing our play once again."
Apparently, the who's-who of the political and show world would attend the performance. Says Shatruji, "I had enjoyed my brief stint on stage, and I had hoped to be back. But somehow because of my various political and film commitments I never got around to it. But now when there is much to celebrate in the family, I feel it's time for me to re-invent myself."
Apparently, Shatruji's daughter Sonakshi convinced him to return to stage.
"It's tough. The two mediums of cinema and theatre are very different from one another. But I am up to it," ends the parliamentarian -actor famous for his oratorial skills.
