Monthly letter-writing circle at Wise Bar, celebrating mail, penpalship, reading, writing, paper, pens, and people!

This month we’re writing in solidarity with political prisoners! Prison and detention centres are lonely, isolating places. Letter writing is an act of resistance, it helps to maintain the human connection that the prison system seeks to destroy. We will have names, addresses, stories and suggestions of what to write on hand.

Of course, as always please feel free to bring addresses to write to friends and family near and far.

– Bring addresses and some change for stamps

– Pay-what-you-can stationery bar on-site
