The Comedy Store – Main Room – on Sunset (West Hollywood, CA)

Steve Treviño has gotten laughs as a writer and cast member on Comedy Central’s Mind of Mencia and has made the national touring rounds with the show’s star, Carlos Mencia. He’s helmed his own cable comedy specials, earned applause on the late-night talk show circuit and now comes to Hollywood’s Comedy Store on Sunset. Though Treviño’s carved a name for himself on the L.A. comedy scene, his stand-up still has a definite “Tex-Mex” sensibility. During this headlining gig, you’ll hear some of his favorite stories from his small town Texas childhood, including tell-all jokes about his off-the-hook family members and loving pot shots aimed at his Mexican heritage. Joining him on stage is Brian Monarch, who’s heated up the local scene for years, working with the likes of Margaret Cho, Chris D’Elia and Bobby Lee.
