USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It seems the director and producer of the multi-starrer Welcome Back have had a fall-out over the film's release plans.
The film was originally scheduled to be released in December 2014. It was postponed to May 29, 2015. But now the release date has been postponed further, this time indefinitely.
While producer Feroz Nadiadwala maintains that the delay is due to the special effects which require more time than expected, director Anees Bazmi has another story to tell.
"I've completed all my work on Welcome Back. Now it's up to the producer to release the film whenever he wants to," says Anees.
Apparently Feroz is waiting for the price that his film deserves before closing the deal for the sale of the film in all territories. Says Anees, "Ferozebhai is looking for a certain price. I leave the financial aspects to him."
