Richa Chadha has always had spiritual leanings. While she was shooting for Masaan in Banaras, she had several surreal experiences with astrologers and pandits in age-old temples. This time, it's the holy city of Amritsar, which also happens to be her birthplace.
On her first day off from the shoot, she visited the 'Golden Temple' in the evening. Wrapped in a heavy phulkari dupatta and shades, she managed to conceal her identity and stayed inside the sanctum Santorum hearing the gurbani for hours. People accompanying her got worried and began to look for the actor.
"This is not the first time I have had a near mystical experience at a place of worship. I feel blessed that I got to spend such uninterrupted time here. It was soothing for my soul. I am really speechless and can't think of what else I can say".
The actor has been shooting in Amritsar for her upcoming film Sarabjit.
