Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Though director Remo D'Souza denies it, the fact of the matter is that he has been asked to remove certain religious emblems from his super-hero film A Flying Jatt. Remo's team has now taken the film back to post-production where the offending emblems are being digitally removed.
Says a source close to the project, "Though the censor board has cleared the film with no cuts, the makers of A Flying Jatt don't want to take any chance, as there have been objections from Sikh and Jatt cultural and religious organizations regarding certain shots. Better safe than sorry."
Prior to this, Sajid Nadiadwala had a knife dangling on Jacqueline Fernandez's hip digitally removed in a dance item in Dishoom when it was alleged by some Sikh organizations that the knife was disrespectful to their religion as it resembled a holy kirpan."
