80 year old man dies after snowmobile crash, Hamilton

Hamilton Police investigate the City’s 9th traffic fatality for 2011.

On Friday March 25th, 2011 at approximately 6:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to an address on Parkshore Place in Carlisle to investigate a collision involving a snowmobile.

The victim, an 80 yr. old man, was driving a snowmobile at approximately 5:20 p.m. on private property when he struck a tree. He was not wearing a helmet. His injuries were fatal and he was pronounced as deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim is being withheld at the request of the family. The family is requesting privacy during this difficult time.
