The mining magnate of Australia, Clive Palmer, blamed the Queensland environment campaigners and the Australian Greens of working with the CIA in order to kill the coal industry in the region. Palmer expressed his opinion over the recent campaigns against the coal industry on Tuesday.

He openly declared that it is the backing of the American Intelligence Agency, CIA, with which the environment lobby is standing so confident and creating trouble for the coal industry. Further stating facts he said that outside agencies are exploiting the small lobbies to ensure that their goal of destroying the coal industry in Australia is fulfilled. Palmer gave the statement after the current government successfully posted the mining tax. He seemed to have ignored that the tax was imposed by the Gillard government but was seen exposing the makers of the environmental lobbies.

Talking to the media, Palmer said, “This is a serious matter indeed because it goes to the political independence of all Australians. Whatever the views are, whatever the issues are, whatever the Greens want to raise, it should be raised by Australian Greens by Australians Greens supporters. We don’t want domination by a foreign power and that’s what we’ve got here.”

He also brought forward a report leaked by the environmental lobbies working towards taking down the mining industry just two weeks before they launched their campaign.
