The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section is investigating the report of a sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours of April 25, 2012. 

At approximately 2:20 am, a 20-year old woman was walking in the 100 block of Lebreton Street North when she was grabbed from behind, forced to the ground and inappropriately touched. The woman fought back and the suspect fled the area towards Somerset Street. 

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male with a goatee, approximately 5 ft 9 (175 cm) in wearing a dark puffy jacket and baseball cap.
