Dwayne Perkins headlines at The Garrett Morris Downtown Blues and Comedy Club. A native of Brooklyn, Perkins has been touring the country for years with his smart, likable and hilarious stand-up. Dwayne’s been seen on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Late Late Show, and Premium Blend, and recently had his first half-hour Comedy Central Presents special. He’s been a correspondent on TBS’ Very Funny News and he got a lot of buzz for his recurring segment on The Jay Leno Show, called “Great White Moments in Black History.” In addition to headlining at colleges and comedy clubs across the country, Perkins is part of The Bob & Tom Comedy Tour.
