The Calgary Police Service is investigating the suspicious death of a minor in the city’s northwest.
Just after 10 p.m. yesterday, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Citadel Drive N.W. for reports of a deceased youth.
As is the case in all undetermined deaths, the CPS Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate.
An autopsy is scheduled for today, Wednesday, May 8, 2013. At this early stage in the investigation, no other details will be available until the autopsy has been completed.
Update: An autopsy was conducted yesterday, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, on the 15-year-old male.
However, further analysis is required and as such a cause and nature of death is not being released at this time.
As is the case in all undetermined deaths, the CPS Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
As this investigation is in the early stages, no further information is being released at this time.
