On Tuesday, May 8, 2013, the Toronto Police Service Fugitive Squad arrested a man under the Extradition Act at the request of the United States Marshals Service.

Angel Leonel Parada Herrera, 29, was arrested at his home in Kitchener. He is wanted by authorities in South Carolina for First Degree Sexual Assault on a six-year-old girl.

He is a Canadian citizen, which required an Extradition warrant to be issued for his arrest.

Parada Herrera is currently being held pending extradition.
