An American citizen is held prisoner and tortured for reasons unknown to him — and apparently to his brutal captors — who seem to be after certain information, though they never actually ask him anything. This mix of suspenseful drama and existential black comedy by award-winning playwright-director Michael Franco takes an absurdist look at the seemingly endless cycle of hatred, violence and inhumanity in modern society. This world premiere received a Go recommendation from LA Weekly, and reprises its run as part of 2013’s Best of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
