On September 3, 2010, at approximately 9:15 p.m., members of the Acadian Peninsula RCMP responded to a crash with injuries on Highway 11, near Tabusintac, New Brunswick.

It appears that a vehicle did not make a mandatory stop before turning onto Highway 11, heading south in the north-bound lane. The vehicle then collided with a north-bound vehicle.

Two occupants of the north-bound vehicle suffered non life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital. Police arrested an 80-year-old man from Tabusintac for impaired driving. He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
