"Hail, the Mighty Horn!"

A quartet of the world’s finest French horn players join the LA Phil for this concert in celebration of the mighty horn at the Hollywood Bowl. These guest artists from the Berlin Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra — plus the LA Phil’s own principals — are world-class instrumentalists and their music will shine under the direction of conductor James Gaffigan. They’ll be playing a pair of works from Strauss, including his popular tone poem, Till Eulenspiegel, plus Schumann and the world premiere of Fanfare for Horns from Bruce Broughton.
