Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing senior from Mississauga.

Sinh LU, a 79 year-old male from Mississauga, was last seen Monday, August 8, 2011, at approximately 8:00 a.m., at his residence on Volpe Avenue in Mississauga.

Mr. LU is described as an Asian male, 5’6” inches tall, with a thin build. He has short grey hair and glasses. On occasion, he has been known to be pushing around his own personal shopping cart. The missing person is of Chinese descent and only speaks Cantonese. He has been diagnosed as being in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

Mr. Lu has been able to use transit in the past and may have inadvertently travelled some distance.

UPDATE: Mr. Lu has been located
