Two charged for sexual assault and forcible confinement in London

A 37-year-old male and a 35-year-old female have been arrested and face numerous charges related to the forcible confinement, assault and sexual assault of an adult female.

On Saturday, August 13, 2011, the London Police Service, along with EMS, responded to an address in London to check on the welfare of a female.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the victim was subjected to sexual assaults and assaults over a period of time. The victim and the accused are known to each other. Both accused have been arrested and the victim remains in hospital receiving treatment for her injuries.

London Police have charged 37-year-old Johnathon Rick and a 35-year-old Cynthia Anderson, both of London.

No further information will be released at this time in order to protect the identity of the victim.
