Vancouver Police are confirming that 23 year old Brendon Samuel Beddow of Surrey is the man who died yesterday afternoon following an officer-involved shooting in the 3000 Block of McBride Avenue in Surrey.

The Vancouver Police are conducting the investigation into the incident at the request of the Surrey detachment of the RCMP. VPD Major Crime detectives will be back in the neighbourhood today to locate and speak with witnesses.
