Toronto man Akrem Mohammed arrested for sexual assault
The Toronto Police Service would like to update the public of an arrest made in a sexual assault investigation.
On Friday, March 10, 2023 at approximately 4:10 a.m., a women was sexually assaulted in the Danforth Avenue/Robinson Avenue area.
On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Akrem Mohammed, 38, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Sexual Assault
- Aggravated Sexual Assault
- Sexual Assault with a Weapon
- Uttering Threats
- Carry Concealed a Weapon
- Weapons Dangerous
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, at 10 a.m., in courtroom 412.
