On January 27, 2015, a 44-year-old Kedgwick man was sentenced to four years in jail ondrug charges.
Gilles Raymond was found guilty of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine pills. During the investigation, police seized approximately 10,000 methamphetamine pills and more than a kilogram of cocaine.
He was arrested in Kedgwick on May 30, 2012 during a multi-agency drug investigation known as Operation J-Themis. The operation began in 2009 and lead to the disruption of a criminal network that was supplying large quantities of illegal drugs into northwestern New Brunswick.
