In a Red Carpet interview before the show, Lennox said she is a quiet person who saves her energy for performance. Wow! She still has a voice in a million.
Annie Lennox released “Put A Spell on You” in her CD Nostalgia which also has “Memphis in June“, “Georgia On My Mind” and the controversial Billie Holiday song “Strange Fruit” along with 8 other songs from the past.
The CD is a double CD/DVD with a live performance of “Put A Spell on You”, an interview with Annie Lennox and 9 other classic songs. It’s a highly recommended set.

“Take Me To The Church” is from Hozier’s 2014 release Hozier.
Andrew Hozier-Byrne, who goes by Hozier, is a 23-year-old singer songwriter from Ireland who now stands at #1 on the Amazon.com chart for Alt Rock and Adult Alternative.
The CD has been in the top 10 in the UK, Canada and the US showing his international appeal for his sophomore release.

As usual, the Grammys are a chance to sample what’s new and what’s older but great in music.
