Toronto police search for the killer of Andrew Stewart

On Thursday, June 16, 2011, shortly after 10 p.m., police responded to a shooting call at 2901 Jane Street.

Police attended the address, where upwards of 40 people had gathered, and located a 26-year-old man suffering from obvious gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Andrew Stewart, 26, of Toronto,

A suspect is described as male, brown, 5’6-5’7", with a thin face and build with short braided hair. A vehicle was also seen speeding away from the scene.

The victim is known to frequent the area and investigators would like to speak with anyone who was with him that evening.
