A 23 year-old Regina male has been charged with Attempt Murder after an incident last night in the 1300 block of 15th Avenue that sent a 44 year-old Regina male to hospital.
Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 15th Avenue on Monday, June 25, 2012, at about 10:37 p.m. for a report of a disturbance. The caller indicated hearing the sound of yelling and crying. Police arrived and found three persons, two males and a female at that location, outside the house. Inside, police found a 44 year-old male who had sustained what appeared to be numerous stab wounds. EMS transported the victim to hospital and officers continued their investigation to determine what had happened. As the result of investigation, one of the males at the scene, a 23 year-old Regina man, was charged with Attempt Murder. The victim remains in hospital.
Twenty-three year-old Okimaw Russell FOX, DOB: 1989-04-13, of Regina, is charged with Attempt Murder [239 CC] and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]. FOX will make his first court appearance on the charge in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
