Race, gender, marriage and motherhood come into conflict in the award-winning war drama Year of the Rabbit. Spanning two families, two generations and two highly controversial wars, Rabbit illuminates the devastating consequences of war across generations and ethnicities — from Vietnam to Afghanistan. Penned by L.A.-based actress-playwright Keliher Walsh, Rabbit won the inaugural Kentucky Women Writers Conference Prize for Women Playwrights Competition. James Eckhouse directs this Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles production at Atwater Village Theatre.
