Welcome to Genesis’ Second Annual Beach 4’s Tournament for 2013! For some of you that may not know, Genesis team is a group of women that was formed last year by Adam Kinoshita a.k.a Kino to play in the North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament (NACIVT). NACIVT is an annual volleyball tournament held on Labor Day weekend to bring together Chinese communities from around the United States and Canada. Since its inception in 1935, the tournament has grown considerably and has over 1,500 players participating in it each year. The tournament rotates between seven cities: Boston, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, and Washington D.C.. Beach Tournament Details Date: Saturday, June 15th Location: Ashbridges Bay/Woodbine Beach (Woodbine and Lakeshore), west end of the beach Time: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Format: 4’s, two guys and two girls at all times Tournament Fee: $100 per team Registration Deadline: Friday, June 7th, TEAM FEES MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH REGISTRATION AND/OR BEFORE REGISTRATION DEADLINE. Prizes: 1st and 2nd place cash prize, Consolation 1st place cash prize.
