Volkswagen Passat driver man dies in a fatal vehicle collision in Hamilton

On Friday, October 31st 2014 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Hamilton Emergency Services responded for a serious two vehicle collision which occurred at the intersection of Brock Road and Concession 6 West in the City of Hamilton involving a Volkswagen Passat and a GMC Sierra.

The 19-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen Passat was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver, female passenger and two children of the GMC Sierra were transported to the HGH and MUMC respectively with non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed in all directions for approximately 8 hours. Although next of kin notifications have been completed, the name of the deceased is not being released at the request of the family.

This collision remains under investigation.
