Brampton – Officers from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the third homicide of 2015, which has claimed the life of a 58 year old Toronto woman.

On Sunday, March 29, 2015, at approximately 12:35 a.m.., Peel Regional Police responded to a disturbance call at an address on Nanwood Drive.  Officer arrived to find a female party deceased within the residence.

Richard PEREIRA, 36 years of age, from Brampton, was arrested at the scene and later charged with 2nd Degree Murder.  He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 29, 2015, and was held for a bail hearing.

The victim has been identified as Kathryn Horne, 58 years of age, from Toronto.
