Buckle up your bootstraps and come aboard the Queen Mary for two days of rip-roaring live country music on Long Beach’s famous floating hotel. The two-day Shipkicker Country Music Festival has dashing new star Dustin Lynch (“Where It’s At”) headlining on Saturday, and the backyard party-starting riffs of Parmalee (“Close Your Eyes”) on Sunday. But those two stellar acts are just the tip of the iceberg of a jam-packed weekend that also includes the likes of songwriter extraordinaire Eric Paslay, lovable homegrown heartbreakers The Railers, and many more. In between, you’ll find plenty of food vendors, a beer garden, cocktails, yard-games and even a wild bucking bull ride. Come early with five bucks in your pocket and you’ll get to enjoy a pre-fest parking lot tailgating party replete with food and drink specials, a 2-step contest and the chance to meet Go Country 105 radio (and festival) hosts Graham Bunn on Saturday and Christine Martindale on Sunday.
