The stage of the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood will fill with the sounds of classic American pop when Spencer Day and Jake Simpson perform an evening of standards. Day is an award-winning songwriter who made it to the finals of the reality competition show Star Search. Simpson did him one better, being named the show’s Grand Champion. He’s also appeared on OWN TV (the Oprah Winfrey Network). The pair will be performing live with a little big band, including a six-piece horn section. On the program will be favorites along with new songs from their individual forthcoming albums.
