This DJ truly lives up to his name as one of Canada’s most diverse DJs, taking you on a musical journey around the world and back again with the flick of his wrist!

Bronfman Hall

Los Poetas 8:30 – 9:00 PM

Skilled in the trade of ol’ Boom Bap, Los Poetas are true masters of this now misconceived and ambiguous artform. With the use of “Spanglish” the distinguished trio are able to fluently incorporate English and Spanish in their music, allowing them to bridge the gap beyween the America’s and beyond.

House DJ: DJ Grouch

Born in Panama and arriving in Toronto soon after, DJ Grouch has been around music his entire life.

Mamzelle Ruiz 8:00 – 10:30 PM

This trio of remarkable musicians from Mexico explore multiple facets of the profane and sacred music of the Huasteca region. FNL will be the first time they perform outside of Mexico.

Born in the Bronx with Peruvian roots, Erick mixes a blend musical sytles including latin, brazilian, afro, and nu-disco.

In Conversation: Meet Chlo Sayer, guest curator and ROM Research Assosciate in Textiles, and artists in residence Sergio Hernndez Martinez, internationally-exhibited paper artist, and Arturo Estrada-Hernndez, award-winning master-dyer and master weaver, as they demonstrate their skills. 8:30-10:00 PM

Featured Exhibition: Viva Mxico! Clothing and Culture

Presented by Mexico Tourism Board Canada. Over 150 stunning historic and contemporary pieces are on display in this engaging exhibition, including complete costume ensembles, sarapes, rebozos, textiles, embroidery, beadwork and more. 8:00 – 10:30 PM
