Voices that Care is a joint fundraising concert with the Room 217 Foundation and Hospice Toronto. Started 25 years ago, Hospice Toronto is Toronto’s first volunteer and community based, not for profit, in home hospice palliative care program. Hospice Toronto has become a recognized leader in providing high quality, hospice care and support for people through all phases of their life threatening illness, and their loved ones, at no charge. The Room 217 Foundation is a not for profit dedicated to caring through music. Room 217’s music care approach includes purposefully designed music care resources for vulnerable populations, education for caregivers who wish to integrate music into care practice, and a conceptual framework that will help health care organizations optimize music.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 7:00PM at the Glenn Gould Studio located at CBC, 250 Front St. West, Toronto. Tickets are $217 with a portion tax-receiptable.

The evening’s host will be award-winning television producer, host, and Member of the Order of Canada, Denise Donlon. The concert will feature musical performances by Murray McLauchlan, Julie Nesrallah, Jim Cuddy, Molly Johnson and Coco Ma along with a special presentation by Eric Peterson.
