USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Yesterday, we had reported that the Central Board of Film Certification had awarded the soon to release film The Jungle Book a 'UA' rating. While the board reasoned that since the film featured ferocious animals leaping out of the screen and the fact that the film is in 3D will scare children, the UA rating was apt.

Now, venting his ire at the censor board, filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt lashed out at the CFBC saying that awarding The Jungle Book a UA rating shows how crazy the country has become. If The Jungle Book can get UA, then the government needs to do some very serious thinking about CBFC, he said. Further venting out his frustration, Bhatt added that the CBFC should be put in a garbage can and that is where it should be. When prodded on whether he felt that the CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani was responsible for this rating, he stated that he is not talking about Nihalani, since he is just a stooge of the people who have put him there.

Concluding his rant on the topic, Mukesh Bhatt stated that if a The Jungle Book can get a UA rating it is a shame on India.
