• In the first incident on Friday July 29, 2011, the 29 year old suspect who is known to the victim approached the victim in a residence on the Mountain. The suspect made comments regarding his religious beliefs and assaulted the victim. The victim was not injured. The suspect was arrested the following day and will be charged with assault.
• The second incident also took place on Friday July 29, 2011. The 59 year old suspect who is known to the victim made derogatory comments about sexual orientation while at a downtown residence. The suspect then assaulted the victim, who suffered minor injuries. The suspect was arrested the following day and will be charged with assault causing bodily harm and threatening.
• The third incident took place on Saturday July 30, 2011 at a store in Jackson Square. The suspect approached the store owner, uttered racial slurs and threatened the victim. While conducting the investigation, the suspect returned to the store and was arrested. Further investigation revealed that the suspect has been interfering with the operations of the store while the victim was inside. The suspect will be charged with criminal harassment and threatening.
