Toronto man charged for stabbing a woman

On Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 2:05 p.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the Albion Road/Armel Court area.

It is alleged that:

– the accused got into a dispute with a 23-year-old woman,

– the accused pulled out a knife, then stabbed the woman several times,

– the man fled the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

Anh Tuan, 33, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault,
2) Assault with a Weapon,
3) Weapons Dangerous,
4) Forcible Entry,
5) Fail to Comply Probation.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Sunday August 7, 2011, room 111, at 10 a.m.
