Two Brampton men, Marlon Nurse, 29, and Darryl Plummer, 25, have been charged with first-degree murder of 38-year-old Devinder Kumar on November 10. Kumar was found dead at the side of a Caledon road on Thursday.
Police and paramedics were called at The Gore Rd. north of Mayfield Rd. around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Kumar was suffering through serious injuries. The paramedics tried to save his life, but Kumar’s wounds were fatal.
Initially, police chased one of the two suspects and arrested him. He was taken to Brampton Civic Hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Later, another arrest was made, said OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt.
Both Nurse and Plummer appeared at a Brampton court Friday.
Viewing for Devinder Kumar is on Wednesday, November 16th, from 5-9pm;
