Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced Friday that forward Corey Tropp has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Tropp (6’0″, 195 lbs., 7/25/89) joins the Sabres on his fourth career recall after last dressing for the team on Dec. 9. He has appeared in 13 games for the Sabres this season, collecting two points (1+1).
Tropp has recorded 17 points (7+10) in 22 games with Rochester this season. Overall, he has appeared in 98 AHL games, collecting 57 points (17+40) with Rochester and the Portland Pirates (2010-11).
The Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. native was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
