For Kareena Kapoor Khan, every birthday is very special – be that of her own one or her friends. So she had to come back from Delhi where she is shooting for Rhea Kapoor’s Veeray Di Wedding to celebrate her 37th birthday with close friends, family and her staff. Kareena usually brings in her birthday the night before but last night was an exception as she was traveling and arrived home late.
Says a source, “Kareena is very particular of all social events of her loved ones and so she took off two days from Rhea to come to Mumbai and celebrate her birthday. She loves celebrating her birthdays with lots of friends and family while her husband Saif Ali Khan loves intimate get-togethers. Kareena has been shooting for Veeray Di Wedding for the last week and yesterday she attended a product launch event in Delhi.”
The actress landed very late last night and was exhausted so she couldn’t bring in her birthday. The source adds, “But today is a big bash at her residence where everyone from her family including Babita, Randhir, Karisma Kapoor to her close friends from Malaika Arora, Amrita Ladak, makeup stylist Mallika Bhatt, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Mickey Contractor and her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Bebo’s staff will be present. They will all come to wish her tonight at Saif and her residence in Bandra and Saif has done everything himself – from arranging the caterers to the huge birthday cake of the type Kareena loves. She will return to Delhi for VDW shoot on Saturday with Taimur who is traveling with her.”
