Just a day ago we had mentioned that Gen Y superstar Varun Dhawan had spent his Christmas celebrating it with kids of an orphanage. Now his Judwaa co-star Jacqueline Fernandez too seems to have rung in the festive season this year in a similar manner.
While Jacqueline Fernandez was in town owing to her work commitments, the actress decided to take some time out to spend the Christmas with the kids of Pehlay Akshar, an English program that aims at teaching the language to the underprivileged kids. The actress not only interacted but also participated with them in their Christmas special activities.
Jacqueline Fernandez had recently stated that this is one of the rare Christmases where she is staying away from her family. Reason? The actress is shooting for Race 3 along with co-stars Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and others. She also added that when she was presented the opportunity of meeting these kids she leapt at it since it was a special programme for children.
On the other hand, the actress also revealed that she danced with them on her all-time favourite song ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyan’ from her film Roy. Besides this, the actress said she will treasure the goodies she made during the ‘best of the waste’ session she had with the kids as one of the activities. In fact, we hear that the actress even took some of these decors for her Christmas tree at her residence.
Jacqueline Fernandez took to Instagram to share a few picture from the event and she also spoke about the experience in the caption saying, “Merry Christmas everyone @pehlay_akshar was a great experience, thanks for being my home away from home today.”
Talking about her films, basking in the success of Judwaa 2, Jacqueline Fernandez will next be seen in Drive opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and in Race 3 alongside Salman Khan. We also hear that the sequel to Kick 2 is in the pipeline but details of the same are yet to be revealed.
