In celebration of Spring we present You dont paint me flowers anymore. In which three artists express their perspective on the seasons beauty. This collection of flowers creates a brilliant bouquet to be enjoyed year round. In a series of acrylic paintings, Erika Ewel uses fragile lines and elegant brush strokes to create delicate images anchored around a central flower motif. Working on handmade bark paper, Toronto-based Ilyana Martinez continues her reflection on the fusion of two contrasting worlds the natural realm alive with endless growth and plant life and the built environment of the city. Using watercolour, botanical illustrator Riziki Kataya presents the crisp details and intense colours of her botanical subjects.
