Summer nights are for hanging outdoors as long as you can, and Eat See Hear Movies presented by Fandango makes it possible. Combining popular films with live indie bands and some of the city’s most famous food trucks these outdoor events make for a quintessential California summer experience. This screening takes place in the heart of downtown L.A., rolling the largest outdoor movie screen west of the Mississippi over to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) for a screening of the the classic ’70s slacker film, Dazed & Confused. L.A. indie-pop band The Little Ones (as heard on TV’s Gossip Girl) open the evening with their fresh-faced, ’60s-inspired pop sound. As always, a variety of the city’s best food trucks will be on hand to dish out food from Fatmobile to fry bread and all points in between.
