Brampton kid Kesean Williams dies of a gunshot wound

Officers from the Homicide Bureau are currently investigating a late night shooting, which left a 9 year-old Brampton child dead. This is the Region’s third homicide for 2013.

On Wednesday January 23, 2013, at approximately 10:27 p.m., police responded to a shooting call at 51 Ardglen Drive.  Upon arrival, police located the victim, Kesean Williams, 9 years-old suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a Toronto area Trauma Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Homicide investigators will be conducting a canvass in the housing complex and surrounding areas as part of the investigation. At this point there is no suspect(s) information.
