He attempts to honor and maintain Jewish ancestral and religious customs in his family, but times are changing. Teyve’s faith and love for his family gives him strength when dangerous forces threaten the village’s traditional way of life. Fiddler on the Roof offers a whirling good time of singing, dancing, laughing and crying. The score includes the unforgettable songs “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “Sunrise, Sunset” and “To Life.”
