West Coast Jewish Theatre presents Herb Gardner’s Tony-winning Broadway comedy I’m Not Rappaport at Pico Playhouse. Set in New York’s Central Park, this beloved comedy centers on a pair of cantankerous octogenarians: Midge, an African-American building super, and Nat, a radical Jewish man. Determined not to go gently into that good night, the two spend their days sharing a park bench, needling each other mercilessly and battling with their adult kids, drug dealers, disgruntled tenants, society’s treatment of the aging and more.
